What the job is:
CPI is looking for someone who has experience with accounting procedures, has solid written and verbal communication skills, the ability to manage a team and a strong business acumen. This person will effectively collaborate with the Agronomy Leadership team including the VP of Agronomy, VP of Operations, Sales Managers, Precision Manager and Agronomy Controller. CPI is a safety minded company thus such policies must be followed. The Accounting Manager must also have the ability to write reports, procedural manuals and use Microsoft Office products, accounting/database software and have the ability to quickly adapt to change. This person will ensure daily activities performed by accounting staff are accurate, effective and efficient. The Accounting Manager will write and update Standard Operating Procedures, answer correspondences with patrons and/or customers regarding billing and assist the Agronomy Controller with month-end closing, analysis and forecasting.
This position is onsite located at the CPI Corporate office.

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration or equivalent work history is required.
- Five years or more of accounting experience required.
- Valid Driver’s License.
